About the Community

RCCEB is a non-stock corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, operating as a community initiative within the Robert College (“RC”) alumni ecosystem. RCCEB is intended to foster connections, knowledge sharing and collaboration among RC Alumni and RC Friends. The community serves entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors and professionals who demonstrate a committed affiliation with the RC ecosystem.

Participation may include discussions, networking activities, events and communication through online platforms used by the community.

Relationship with Robert College

RCCEB operates independently as a community-led organization within the RC ecosystem. RCCEB is not owned, operated or controlled by RC. RC does not sponsor, endorse or assume any responsibility or liability for RCCEB, its activities, events, communications or any interactions among participants.

The use of the RC name or reference to the RC alumni network is solely for identification and community-building purposes. RCCEB shall not imply any official affiliation, endorsement or partnership with RC without prior written consent.

Voluntary Participation

Participation in the RCCEB community is entirely voluntary. Participants may join, participate in or leave the community at any time.

Any such contributions made by participants, including sharing information, participating in discussions, mentoring or collaborating with others, are made voluntarily and at the participant’s own discretion.

Informational and Networking Purpose

The purpose of the RCCEB community is to facilitate networking and the exchange of ideas among participants.

Information shared within the community may reflect personal opinions, experiences or general information and should not be relied upon as professional guidance.

No Investment, Legal or Professional Advice

No information shared within the RCCEB community, including discussions, presentations, written materials or communications between participants, constitute legal, financial, tax, investment or other professional advice.

Participants remain solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence and seeking independent professional advice before making business, financial or legal decisions. Participants are encouraged to consult with their own legal and financial advisors.

Independent Decision-Making

Participation in the RCCEB community does not create any legal obligation to invest in, support, collaborate with or otherwise engage in business relationships with other participants.

All decisions relating to any kind of business activity, investments, collaborations or partnerships remain the sole responsibility of the individual participants involved.

RCCEB does not screen, verify or endorse the qualifications, services or business opportunities presented by participants.

No Brokerage or Intermediation

RCCEB operates solely as a community and networking platform and does not act as a broker, intermediary or financial advisor.

RCCEB does not facilitate or execute transactions and does not receive any commission, fee or other compensation in connection with any business or investment arrangements between any participants.

Any agreements or arrangements between participants are made independently and are the sole responsibility of the parties involved. RCCEB is not a party to such arrangements and assumes no responsibility for them.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, participants agree to release and discharge RCCEB and its directors, officers and organizers, members of the Founders Council, Validators Circle, agents, representatives, successors, assigns and all other participants from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, disclosed or undisclosed, that have arisen or may arise out of or in connection with participation in RCCEB activities or interactions between participants.

This release includes, without limitation, (a) any reliance on information, opinions, advice or representations shared within the community, whether in writing orally or by any other means shared within the community, (b) any interactions, communications or relationships between participants or (c) any business, professional, investment or personal decisions made by participants. By participating in the RCCEB community, participants release and hold harmless the Founders Council, Validators Circle members and other participants from any such liability.

Mutual Waiver of Claims

Participants acknowledge that RCCEB is a community platform that facilitates interaction among members. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each participant agrees to waive any claims against RCCEB, its organizers, members of the Founders Council, Validators Circle, volunteers and other participants arising out of or in connection with participation in RCCEB activities.

Participants further acknowledge that any interactions, collaborations or arrangements between participants are undertaken at their own discretion and risk and agree not to bring claims against other participants in relation to such interactions.

Consent to Communication

By joining the RCCEB community, participants consent to receive communications about community activities, events and initiatives via email or other communication channels used by the community.

Governing Law

This Consent and Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware.

Electronic Signatures

By signing this document or participating in RCCEB activities, the participants agree that this Consent and Release Form may be executed and delivered by electronic signatures. Such electronic signatures shall be deemed equivalent to handwritten signatures for the purposes of validity, enforceability and admissibility.

Acknowledgement

By joining or participating in the RCCEB community, the participants acknowledge that they have read and understood this Consent and Release Form and agree to participate under these terms.
